Again, the job and the responsibility is all about safety.

There are a lot of people, a lot of mine owners that see us as that regulatory agency like MSHA, and they're not real happy to see us show up.

The reality is that we see ourselves as educators and teachers, that extra set of eyes for the the beleaguered safety engineer at some of these mines that people get tired of listening to him or her tell them to work safely.

Because when we go onto a mine site, what we write are called notices of violation.
