5:18
If they just listen more carefully, we could show them that working class candidates could succeed, and a more populist, aggressive, anti-corporate platform would succeed.
9:25
Right.
17:10
Bush, Bush the lesser.
17:12
Yeah, Bush the lesser.
17:15
The labor leadership said, no more.
17:18
We don't want to hear anything about the Labor Party.
17:20
Forget it.
17:21
Third parties are out.

And that was it.

Because I've

But it's a truth.
47:45
Well, it's a truth.

And I realized we had done some surveys and some workshops I'd done with the steel workers, and they said the same thing.
48:03
They felt that the Democratic Party had betrayed them, that they hadn't lived up to their values.

Where do you fall?
1:26
Who is Les Leopold and who do you serve?
1:32
Well, it's an interesting story.
1:37
I began my career as an intern with a labor leader in Washington, DC.
1:45
His name was Tony Mazzocchi.
1:47
He passed away in 2002.
1:48
But he was the guy that... pretty much invented OSHA and was a very visionary guy.
