What are your thoughts on the concept of genre in general?

Well, I think we need to be honest that like, you know, being born into this era, we're born into more music than let's say Miles Davis was in his day, you know? Yeah.

So, you know, Birth of the Cool wasn't the only thing on the radio, right? And Miles Davis, in the spirit of Miles, you'll be more into what's going on around you in the present.

And you got to make sense of that as your own reality, because that is your reality.

You have to make sense of it, you know? And it just so happens that it looks, the way that would look is somebody that's pretty genre fluid, you know? Yeah.

um, it's difficult because people are still trying to figure out how to market those kinds of artists.

And some of, some other artists, uh, get through pretty well, you know, um, as far as, uh, they visually look like they're into all kinds of things.
