What's your year been like hearing stories? This was all about hearing stories and hearing courage like hers, right?

Yeah.

You know what? It's been one of the best years of my professional career at the CBC or just doing journalism in general, like being able to have the time to create and build relationships.

Like we called it, I called it Zongadewin Stories of Courage.

And Zongadewin translates to courage in Ojibwe.

You know, there's so many people that ghosted me for interviews, for meetups and stuff like that.

Like, I tried really hard to get somebody that was a heterosexual male to come out and say, here's my story.
