Leo HeunksGUEST
And I think Tomaso was discussing earlier this concept of self-inflicted lung injury, right? Some patients have really high respiratory drive, really high respiratory effort that may potentially damage the lung.

Leo HeunksGUEST
So then we have to think about what actually determines respiratory drive in our patients.

Tommaso RosaiGUEST
So i often wonder how much further we should go in in in trying some measures to keep effort in those levels i mean i mean how active should we be in when we face the situation in which effort is not within those safe ranges in in in trying to modify it to put it there and we could use several tools such as partial neuromuscular blockade or increasing sedation but How could we know if this is actually beneficial in terms of our actions? Maybe we need trials for this?
