1:30
What happened to you internally when that identity suddenly disappeared?
1:35
That's, it's a great question, Itue.
1:38
It became the moment in my life that forced me to confront who I was without that job, the routine, and the identity I had built over 22 years.
1:50
Losing my career right before COVID stripped away that external structure I had relied on all my life.
1:58
For the first time in 22 years, I had asked-- had to ask myself a question I avoided: Who am I when everything familiar is gone? That disruption created space, uncomfortable space, but necessary space.
2:13
It pushed me into a deep self-reflection, into understanding subconscious patterns, and ultimately, the work I do now, which is hypnotherapy and NLP.
2:24
So this was just an, an ending.

8:55
And an additional question to that, uh, is, can you please walk us through, uh, what happens, what happened during your release exercise?
FerdinandHOST
14:42
So in simple terms, what is the subconscious, and how can past experiences influence our positive, our present behavior without us realizing it?
14:53
Yeah.
14:54
So, [clears throat] uh, a great example is like... 'Cause like I was saying, the subconscious mind runs our life 95% of the time.
15:04
[clears throat] And a good example of that is you wake up in the morning, you take a shower, brush your teeth, have breakfast, and drive to school, work, or where- wherever you have to go.
15:18
[clears throat] And you, you sometimes wonder, "How did that happen?" [clears throat] So that's just a subconscious mind, um, knowing that that's your routine and protecting you to make sure you're doing everything the correct way.
15:33
So an event that could h- happen when you were younger or, or just in the past that can disrupt that is, say, you had a, a talent show or a play or even a sporting event or something, and say, you messed up badly or, uh, you screwed up and people are laughing, whatever it may be, um, and you were very upset about that situation.
16:02
And the subconscious mind knows that situation bothered you, and you didn't like it, so it will protect you.
FerdinandHOST
18:09
So what is the release exercise, and how does it help people deal with difficult emotions or experiences?
AbrahamHOST
9:08
well splendid wonderful wonderful answer now um you work with patterns such as anxiety anger procrastination and feeling stuck And now the question is now, why do you think people sometimes repeat behaviors they genuinely want to change? And how do you help them explore what might be driven those patterns?
9:37
Well, it's definitely your subconscious mind that's driving those patterns.
9:42
A lot of people don't know your subconscious mind runs 95% of your life, your daily life every day without you knowing it.
9:50
You get up in the morning, you take a shower, brush your teeth, eat breakfast, and you drive to work.
9:57
And sometimes when you get to that location, work or school, you're like, how did this happen? That's your subconscious mind there.
10:05
And the reason people... patterns keep happening is because you just don't know i didn't know i mean you just keep doing it because you like i was saying earlier this is that's all you know you think that's the way it's supposed to be but when you start understanding that those patterns can be changed subconsciously through nlp and hypnotherapy It's really an amazing thing because all it takes is a shift in the pattern to change the mindset and move from your stuckness and go to a new world of unstuckness and possibly a superpower can be relieved through the work you do.
10:48
It's really amazing.

18:50
And
16:57
What does relieving actual-- What does relieving the past actually mean? And what is the first step someone can take if they're ready to stop carrying the old version of themselves into the future?
17:13
Yeah.
17:13
Um, you know, release, release exercise is really, um, a self-hypnosis, um, that I have at the end of every chapter in my book, uh, depending on what, um, resonates with you, anger, anxiety, or feeling stuck.
17:32
And I also have that on an app on my website, um, that explains the release exercise.
17:41
And, um, it's very simple.
17:43
It's powerful, but it's, it's a way to let go of emotional pressure you've been carrying, especially, you know, the stuff you never wanna talk about.
17:54
You know, most people walk around with years of stress, guilt, anger, and disappointment stored in their body for so long.
19:01
Do you think we ever completely let go of our past or is the goal to change the relationship we have, or is the goal to change the relationship we have with it?
8:22
How did you discover it and how can someone So the release
8:29
exercise is self-hypnosis, basically.
8:32
It's just, I call it the release exercise because it's, you know, it's simple, but it's a powerful way to let go of emotional pressure we've been carrying all our lives, especially the stuff, you know, especially the stuff you don't want to talk about.
8:46
Most people walk around with years of stress, guilt, anger, or disappointment stored in their body.
8:54
So this exercise helps you release the weight without having to relive the past or explain your story.
9:00
It's about letting your nervous system finally exhale.
9:04
And the reason this works...
11:05
So you've been embracing changes, but whenever you see some kind of things from your past you kind of do a flashback is that like a sign that you you've not moved on or you're just being cautious
OkoroHOST
14:26
So please, can you just give us a sense of clarity about who is a hypnotherapist?
14:31
Well, so I learned NLP first, but it led into hypnotherapy, which is actually working with the subconscious mind.
14:40
So basically, all it is is getting your mindset right.
14:47
to work a certain way without it having the reflections of your madness, your procrastination, your fear, and it even works for anxiety for some people.
15:02
It relaxes your subconscious mind to a point where whatever is blocking it, you can go through it and do it.
15:11
So like for some people who have fear, You could do hypnotherapy so the mind will...
15:16
You won't be fear of like for people who talk on stage or just fear in talking in front of a crowd or is embarrassed about something.

10 MINS LATER

OkoroHOST
25:35
But I wanted to ask, have you yourself experienced childhood trauma? Or is there anybody you are familiar with that have experienced childhood trauma that actually influenced how they eventually turned out to be as adults?
9:46
So I was wondering, is there like a snapshot of the process on how hypnotherapy actually works with you and how does that work to other people as well? Or how is that illustrated in your book, if I may say?
10:01
Well, yeah, in the book, it actually... has uh certain scenarios there's there's anger there's procrastination uh there's feeling stuck so there's like five scenarios in there that um can resonate with you like for me it was the feeling stuck scenario um that um I didn't understand why I was feeling stuck.
10:31
You know, people say you hit a midlife crisis.
10:34
But basically, it's your subconscious mind running those patterns.
10:40
And your identity wants to change, but it can't change.
10:44
So you... work with your subconscious mind internally and find a root cause of what's causing the issue.
10:55
So basically, it's like we're having a conversation right now and whatever scenario you would have or what you're feeling through, we would...

13 MINS LATER

23:51
So I would like you to give us more highlights or more information as to what we can expect from the book, just so we could entice the audience, perhaps.
BeatriceHOST
16:28
So for someone who understands what they need to do, to change or but they keep um falling back into the same pattern what would you encourage them to do differently
16:47
um it's it's really um not doing deeply you just gotta understand what you're doing is temporary so like you um changing your circumstances like you know adjust your environment changing your identity adjusts your reality so like when the work you're trying to do is like temporary relief a new job or a new routine a new goal but if your identity stays the same you bring back those old patterns into your new life So identity change is deeper.
17:30
So you're going to want to make sure you want to work on that.
17:34
It's shifting the beliefs, basically, emotions and subconscious programs that determine how you think, feel, and act.
17:42
When your identity changes, your circumstances naturally flow because the identity is the root.
17:49
So you just got to...
17:52
Understand and see that the pattern needs to be fixed through NLP or hypnotherapy.
BeatriceHOST
18:24
if someone listening today feels stuck in an identity relationship career or emotional pattern that no longer serves them what is one practical step they can take to begin creating a new chapter you know you've been mentioning um changing or rewiring your mind change your subconscious mind so what is um one practical step they can actually take to um start creating a new chapter
GiftHOST
2:16
What was happening internally during that period?
2:19
Great question.
2:20
So, you know, my situation was a little different, though, because it was COVID.
2:24
I was thinking already of going into... entrepreneurship.
2:27
I wasn't sure what, but because of COVID, I, um, I thought going back to the nine to five was the thing to do.
2:40
So I went back into the same field and then about a year and a half, you know, everything's good with the family.
2:47
Job's actually not bad.

GiftHOST
8:27
how do subconscious beliefs influence our everyday decision relationship confidence and behavior how do subconscious beliefs influence our everyday decision relationship confidence and behavior
MosesHOST
27:13
So, how are those connected to deeper emotional patterns?
27:21
So, those are all patterns that no one wants to ever fix.
27:25
Like... uh, anger is a real, real, real good one that, that, that's hard to fix because people either don't want to, um, uh, deal with it or, or, um, re relive the event.
27:43
Like a good example for me, uh, a big anger was, uh, my dad was, was, um, left me when I was little.
27:53
So I was always angry at my dad.
27:55
So, I didn't know that was the cause of a lot of my anger in my life until I did the work.
28:02
So when I did NLP and hypnosis and found out why I was so angry, they said it was because of being with no dad around.
MosesHOST
30:06
What is hypnotherapy and what misconception would you like to clear up?
