What is your vision?

Well, I'm very humbled to have this opportunity.

I've been in this industry for close to 30 years and have done different elements, private, public, state level, local level, and thankful for the city leadership to give me the trust to do this.

Traffic these days is about technology, using that to address congestion, like I said, safety, using sound engineering practices, responsive and responsible maintenance.

The technology is great, but you have to maintain that.

So I wanted to develop the team of our maintenance and operations folks.

I was told those guys, I want us to be the best signal operations and maintenance team in the state.

And that's a pretty big deal.
