... you don't necessarily like all the different clubs, but you come together for England.

And as I say, this is, this is just six, eight weeks of, "Here we go." And I remember all being in a room and just going, "Oh, God, you're going out.

Yeah, I'm coming after you, and you're a competitor," and all of this kind of stuff.

And then Paul O'Connell stood up and he said, and he's a big 6'7 Irishman, uh, from Munster, uh, and, you know, big, in- intimidating character.

And he just said, "Lads, uh, not many of you will ever get to do this again.

Some of us will, some of us won't.

[laughs]

No.

And, uh, and Paul O'Connell gave a mega speech where he basically said, "Look, some of you will never get this opportunity again to be in this room." And he said, "And I'm lucky to be here for a second time.

So I beg you, please sacrifice 20, 30% of your professionalism to become friends first." And that lived with meFrom then on.

And in true Welsh style, we did it through drinking and socializing.

But, but that's what the Lions was all about.

And he did say, "Look, you know, it's so easy to go and lie in your bed or stretch or you'll do the analysis stuff, but just we're already the best players.

We've gotta become mates." And that's what we did.

Didn't realize it was a journey travel back in time.
