But even taking what could happen into account, let us know, how should we think about this question?

Right.

I think a couple of broader things.

One is, where does space fit into this relationship? Maybe three questions.

Is space something that Iran might invest in in the future afterwards, if we talk about the future, if it continues as a war campaign and so forth? And then another one that people often have, and also, potentially turn to Lincoln on this one, is to what extent does China have leverage over Iran, and then does the space program play a role there? Because this is one of the big questions.

Is this kind of leverage that people assume that China has over Iran overblown or not, and does it? And I think it may be for all the reasons that you know, we've outlined in the paper and Lincoln had mentioned is that it seems to be China's not 100% sure what it wants to do in the Middle East.

We know it's not a high priority.

role or intensifying this more hybridized geopolitical alignment that you describe? What are the indicators that would tell us that this is aggregating into a bigger geopolitical shift? What would you be looking for?

So how durable is this diplomatic window? I mean, i- if these talks falter, is it back to the threat of US strikes? How constrained are Washington's options at this point?

point?Well, I think they're constrained the, the same extent they were constrained a, a week ago in that way.

And whether and what he had planned in terms of a big action, it's really hard to know beyond more firepower.

Maybe he did plan to go after more sensitive sites.

They talked about, you know, there had been talk about hitting a lot of more sensitive energy, um, energy targets, uh, and, and infrastructure that way to cause additional pain to the Iranians, uh, both the, both in terms of the regime, but also to the, to the people.

And those might be some of what they, they're aiming for, or maybe there are other, there's another target set that...

But I think it's, I think it's, there's a lot of speculation about the limits, uh, of what types of other targets they're gonna...

Mm
