Think of the crime that'll come your way, and so you need to vote with the party.
4:37
Yeah, I mean, you're starting to see this play out.
4:39
Almost every single evangelical leader that I talked to brought up trans issues in some way during the course of our conversation.
4:47
You're starting to see ads play out across the country in some of these races.
4:51
You obviously saw in the South Carolina Senate issue this has become something that the candidates are talking about.
4:57
And I think that that drives home the fact that they are making sure that conservative voters, whether they're evangelical or not, are feeling like there's something that is so important, something that could be so transformative that would happen if Democrats took back control of the House or the Senate, that that will mobilize people to show up.
5:17
And Ralph Reed, who I spoke to, he leads the Faith & Freedom Coalition.

5 MINS LATER

10:52
Like church and state.
4:17
Launching new products, working with affiliates, where have you faced some of those big challenges?
4:22
I would say at first, we scaled pretty aggressively, and we weren't necessarily ready for that, so we had a lot of stock issues.
4:31
Since we scaled so fast, we didn't really have the full picture for profit margins figured out yet.
4:37
So at first, we didn't realize how much we were investing and how much we were actually taking in.
4:44
And so our solution to that was we built a platform that was actually tracking daily profits.
4:51
This allowed us to be tracking every piece, free samples that we're sending out, affiliate commission, ad spend, every single piece of the puzzle, and it allowed us to invest in other areas that we maybe weren't capturing fully.
5:06
So that was definitely our biggest challenge, was figuring out the profitability, and our solution was creating a platform to track that daily.
6:20
Has there been a suggestion or a hard suggestion that maybe really changed your business?
73:26
Um, today there was a rare request from the House Ethics Committee urging, quote, "Anyone who may have experienced sexual misconduct by a House member or staffer or who has knowledge of such conduct to contact the committee." What's going on here?
73:39
The House Ethics Committee does not put out statements loosely.
73:42
They are so tight-lipped.
73:43
They are so careful about their investigations getting ahead of anything that they're trying to uncover.
73:48
What I think is happening is you saw last week there were so many members of Congress who were sort of shaking their heads at what are they gonna do to actually reform this process.
73:57
They tried back in 2018.
73:59
Obviously, there were shortcomings to that, and one of the shortcomings, right, is just people not acting ethically who are elected members of Congress.
77:34
Mm-hmm
