I wouldn't have understood.

But because my father is Jordanian and I am his daughter, all rights went to him, even though my mom had full custody in the United States.

That's why she could not get help.

I don't know how media finds things out, but we were hiding, and Dawn and I talked about this before.

My mom had so much guilt of not reaching out to them after the rescue to say thank you for what you did.

And Dave even said this to me.

He was like, people that we've helped, you don't go back to your trauma.

You hide.
