they help patients with the other 23 hours of the day when you're not at your fertility center i love that actually um conceive has been named the fast company's prestigious annual list of the world's most innovative companies for 2023 by the way congratulations lauren but we are delighted to have you here uh on this podcast and um i guess i can just sort of dive in and ask you about your own personal journey and how sort of you were inspired by your own journey as much as you feel comfortable sharing in terms of creating Conceive and helping intended parents and future parents.

Well, first of all, thank you so much for having me here.

I'm so excited.

And fun fact, when I was starting Conceive, I had an idea for it to be called Fertility.

because it was very community oriented at the time.

And that was taken.

Do you have any formulae or do you have particular advices for patients for that initial consultation with a fertility doctor when they've gone through either infertility or they've had losses and now they're going to sit down with a fertility physician and they're going to review their medical history? But also, how do you prepare patients for that initial consultation?
