There was a lot, I guess, of wooden structures, so it was only, I guess, a matter of time before, you know, the one wooden structure burns and then the next one is gone with it.
19:42
Yeah, I mean, as we know, we are wood builders here in St. John's.
19:47
And like many disasters, I think the Great Fire here happened because it was a series of unfortunate events, a perfect storm, if you will.
19:55
So it was a particularly dry, hot July when the fire started here.
20:02
So we know that the fire broke out in a stable at the top of Carter's Hill.
20:07
And there was a water tank just a few meters away from where it started, but that tank was empty because there had been a routine fire checking drill with the volunteer firefighters, and they had forgotten to refill the tank.
20:18
And then the water pressure had been turned off earlier that day for the fire hydrants because they were laying pipes.
21:17
I mean, what happens to a city after something like that?

16:11
Oh.
16:12
I'm like, I could...
16:14
This opens up such a big conversation because yes, I feel like [laughs] not just related to work, yeah, I, I, um, this leads to a few things for me.
16:24
So yeah, I, I found, I did find personally the start of motherhood very, very challenging and, you know, this is me as a, I'm a first-time mom.
16:33
I don't know what it feels like to be a second-time mom, although I hear, um, it feels a lot easier.
16:38
It's more of a logistics with two kids than one.

6 MINS LATER

Is that what happened? Was that the experience?
