It is essential.

I think for me often, you know, when I speak on panels or, you know, when I speak at events or podcasts, I feel like I'm a bit of a broken record just saying over and over again, like we are not a homogenous group.

And to think of us that way does a disservice, not just to us, but to everyone else.

because you're then missing out on the rich, vibrant tapestry of the disabled experience.

And we know that anyone can become disabled at any time.

Like it's the only marginalized group that anyone can join.
