So if you want to get that one out of the way.
25:56
I mean, yeah, we could get that one out of it.
25:58
It's not summer yet, is it? We're in spring.
26:00
So we'll mention that cricket is back.
26:01
It's back on Sky.
26:02
And it kicks off in a couple of weeks.
26:05
Well, it's been three weeks.
ClintHOST
28:17
That's how many people are watching the wires at the moment.
DanHOST
20:59
Yeah.
21:01
Look, okay, well, let's start.
21:02
Okay, so let's start with Saturday.
21:04
So you're going to finish off, if you're like me, you might have the final round of football for the kiddies.
21:10
Yes.
21:10
You're going to do that in the morning.
21:11
You're going to drink a lot of coffee at that.
MegHOST
21:57
You
11:54
With the Commonwealth Games, Laura, are you basing yourself here in New Zealand or are you heading overseas to watch some of the games?
12:01
Look, Adam, I'm glad you brought it up.
12:02
Yeah, it's great to be here and working on their time zone while at home.
12:06
So my alarm's going off every day for 10 days at 3 o'clock in the morning, which is actually a lovely time of day.
12:12
Can I recommend? But what it does mean is that when you get up in the morning with your families or if you're just getting ready to go to work or whatever, you can put me on and I will keep you company with Dame Sophie Pascoe in the mornings and we'll keep you updated because...
12:25
The time that I'm on air, which is about 6am or half past five in the morning, that's when all the medals happen.
12:29
That's when all the medal races are.
12:33
What is our next chance, do you think, to get a medal in the Commonwealth Games?
MegHOST
26:29
Is there anybody, any standouts that we're really looking for this year?
26:32
Oh, look, I think it's, it...
26:34
Commonwealth Games is so cool, and we're really lucky to have it this year, 'cause I don't know if you guys remember like a couple of years ago, it would've been two years ago now, Melbourne were like, "Hey, guys, look, we might have, um, bitten off a bit more we could chew here-
DanHOST
27:15
Mm.
27:15
The Silver Ferns I have really high hopes for.
27:17
You know, Netball New Zealand's been going through a bit at the moment, and I think that might galvanize the gals over there.
27:21
I'm really excited for that.
27:23
There's lots going on.
8:08
Did you know a lot about it? Was it something that interested you? Obviously, you mentioned you had your mum there who had some connections to the sporting world, but was it something that had taken you at that point in life?
8:21
Yeah, well, my dad did too.
8:22
My dad ran Jade Stadium down in Christchurch, and so we had a lot of time, family time at sporting events, so going to the rugby on Friday and Saturday night, and Um, yeah, I always loved sport.
8:33
My brothers were very good cricketers.
8:35
I would tell you I was okay, but I was not.
8:38
Um, so we, yeah, we, we as a family love sport and it was what we did, you know, we'd go and play tennis or backyard cricket, you know, those sorts of things.
8:45
So I'd certainly loved it.

6 MINS LATER

14:38
Finally then, give us your most joyous sporting experience, the most joyful thing you've seen in person and your biggest sporting heartbreak.
48:00
Did you know a lot about it? Was it something that interested you? Obviously, you mentioned you had your mum there who had some connections to the sporting world, but was it something that had taken you at that point in life?
48:13
Yeah, well, my dad did too.
48:14
My dad ran Jade Stadium down in Christchurch, and so we had a lot of time, family time at sporting events, so going to the rugby on Friday and Saturday night, and Yeah, I always loved sport.
48:25

48:27

48:31
So, yeah, we as a family loved sport and it was what we did.
48:34
You know, we'd go and play tennis or backyard cricket, you know, those sorts of things.
51:45
But what's been your experience of that?
ClintHOST
17:26
You're going to be working all weekend probably, aren't you? Again?
17:29
Yeah, I am.
17:31
Yeah, I am.
17:31
I just decided, you know what? These weekends are overrated.
17:35
And I am going to get myself involved in as much sport that I can't play as possible.
17:40
And here we are.
17:42
All right.
ClintHOST
18:15
Laura, what do you reckon the chances are that the New South Wales boys who played on Wednesday back up against the Warriors?
