Uh, talk to me, uh, a little bit about the Revitalize Staley Square project and the Ten for Ten fundraising campaign.

Well, the Ten for Ten fundraising campaign really came out of the fact that we are celebrating our ten-year anniversary here at the museum.

Uh, the ri-Revitalize Staley, um, Staley Square kind of grew out of, if you remember recently, we ha- we've had a lot of Staley things going on.

In 2019, we had the return of the Bears coming to Decatur, and then in 20-- in 2022 was, um, the hundred-year anniversary of, of, of De- of Lake Decatur.

And out of all of those things, um, several new things, um, blossomed.

Uh, one of them was LakeFest, uh, and the naming of Staley Bas- Basin Three as Staley, Staley Basin.

The new, um, historic marker was put down on the shoreline behind The Devon about the Staley, Staley's connection to the lake.

A-and, and it's a shame, uh, because there's a great story to tell here.
