So the paper that you refer to, Sara, we wrote, um, as the Labor government was coming in in twenty twenty-four, and the point we were trying to make was quite a deep philosophical point.

So not just that all governments have to choose between different things, but that the Labor Party coming back into power, its intellectual basis rested in the sort of like nineteen ninety-seven period just after the end of history.

And that moment was a very optimistic moment, but also quite a philosophically coherent moment, which essentially said, if you can continue to sort of expand a sort of neoliberal globalization and the sort of forefront of democracy, all your good things can come together.
