Laura AshforthGUEST
And just for context, you know, my parents are in their 60s and my dad has retired and my mum is looking to kind of wind down her business and retire shortly too.

Laura AshforthGUEST
And we were having these conversations at the family about health, about money and just talking at length about kind of different products and the things that they were seeing and their approach to planning for it.

Laura AshforthGUEST
They had both really recently given up private medical insurance, something that they had had at different stages of their career.

Laura AshforthGUEST
But then coming into kind of their 60s and looking ahead, maybe at the points where they might want to be using it, they were faced with these premiums that just seemed to be getting more and more expensive to the point where it didn't feel like it was affordable anymore.

And other than the preventative side of things, what other gaps do you feel that you're able to support that retirees might be experiencing?

Laura AshforthGUEST
So I guess we've talked about the wait times for electives and we've talked about the preventative pieces.

Laura AshforthGUEST
There are a couple of other things that I think today's healthcare system leaves retirees with a gap.

Laura AshforthGUEST
So when we were doing our research, and you'll probably see this with your clients, It's complicated.

Laura AshforthGUEST
You still have to find your way around, understand what you're facing, what your next steps are, what are you following up with, what are you booking? And that's tricky enough in the NHS or in the private sector.

Nick HutchinsHOST
