So we always try and say, well, what's different now? Or is some of these things, I think they might be a little more self-inflicted, but how is this particular point in time maybe different?

Well, I don't know if it's self-inflicted.

I mean, these are tough times economically, obviously, right? It's a tough market out there.

I think, you know, the performance of the automation suppliers is really a testament to their resilience, their ability to kind of, you know, overcome a lot of these challenges that are out there and to capitalize on new technologies much more quickly.

I mean, AI is the thing we're all talking about right now.

You know, if I if I go back 20 years, you know, in my experience in this industry, there used to be a significant lag time between when the automation industry would adopt commercial IT based technologies.

Right.

So with all of these, you know, confluence of forces, you know, from AI to everything else and all the tumult going on, you know, once I kind of wanted to just always conclude with, you know, once the trade wars and the, the ground wars or physical war, shooting wars, I guess they used to call it, you know, once a lot of this is finally resolved, you know, how do you think the top 50 and the economies they participate in, you know, how's everybody, you know, likely to rebuild themselves and their partnerships? well

But talk to us a little bit about his story.

Okay.

As I say, he's a part-time investigator.

His father is a private investigator, former L.A. cop.

and uh this uncle jack uh shows up uh one day with a problem he's being blackmailed and we don't know by whom and uh i'm gonna say speak to the first person his character is basically me And so they say, I got to drop 10 grand off at this place on Mount Washington, which is a local hillside community in Los Angeles.

And you can see downtown LA from up there on a smoggy day.

And it's like, it's typical California.
