So I think there's a lot of, um, more relational elements that come in, and for me, I wanted to get to know said person, um, who, w- you know, we had never worked together before, um, and then think about what is, what is the relationship between the CEO and the chief of staff, and then what is the job to be done for that person with the rest of the business?

From my perspective, I mean, I have been a chief of staff twice.

I've been a generalist in early-stage companies three times before, and the one thing I learned is titles, they, they don't matter as much to me.

Um, for me it's really important being part of an early-stage company, owning the areas that I'm owning, and, you know, if I'm called, like, a chief of staff or a head of ops and strategy, doesn't really matter.

In the end of the day, it's more about what you actually do, and I feel like none of my roles have ever looked the same, so it's always different.
