17:04
That would be kind of weird.
17:05
This doesn't work.
17:07
So, but again, veterans, again, I'm a huge Eddie Edwards fan.
17:13
He's, you know, he's just the rock, you know, not the rock.
17:16
He's a rock.
17:17
Like he's just solid and he holds everything together.
17:21
I've really developed a huge respect for Brian Myers.

20 MINS LATER

37:48
I mean, God, how different was it being in WCW in comparison to ECW?
7:10
Oh yeah.
7:11
Like people talk about the amazing acrobatics he could do, but he was, uh, so good at everything that his ground game was better than everybody's as well as his aerial game, better than everybody's and just nice, humble guy.
7:28
We exchanged some emails after my stint in again, either FCW or NXT, because I remember when I first went down there, NXT television wasn't available in the U S yet, but it was on, uh, tsn or sportsnet 360 in canada i don't remember which so i got the weekly show so when i was down there before i left i said basically anybody that's interested i'd be happy to watch your matches and offer feedback and he was one of the guys that was Probably the least in need of it, but one of the ones that was very eager to get it, which to me goes to the kind of guy that he was and just nothing but great experiences with him.
8:11
And I was just on threads a couple of days before his passing was just interacting with a fan.
8:17
I don't even know who he was.
8:19
And I just commented, it's like if I made a short list of people in the business, he would be very near the top of that list of someone I really wish I had a chance to wrestle.
8:30
And it's a shame, obviously, that he's passed.

28 MINS LATER

36:24
I was like, how about you go find your brother, dude? Like, where is this
9:05
And
9:05
the crazy thing is like the main event started after the show was supposed to be over.
9:12
And I think that's where, you know, we've talked about it a million times on this show that it tends to not hold viewers well.
9:20
But, you know, maybe at least get your world champion in the ring before the show is supposed to go off the air.
9:27
Because if you were planning on watching something at 10 o'clock Eastern, you might just switch because the main event hasn't even started.
9:36
You haven't had a chance to get hooked.
9:38
And I set my DVR for an extra 30 minutes and I didn't think I was going to see the end of this main event.
11:55
They could have had, you know, Will Ospreay coming out there at eleven fifty nine or whatever it is, you know, instead of at twelve ten on the show, you know.
22:06
You know it this time
22:07
...
22:07
Nick, Nick Nemeth defends the TNA world title against Jeff Hardy.
22:12
Order4 has a, a trios match with Rich Swann, BDE, and a mystery partner.
22:18
The semifinals in the KO TV title tournament, Andy Hartwell versus M by Elegance, Ricky Sosa versus Brian Myers, Eddie Edwards versus Casey Navarro, and we will hear from the face of the franchise, Moose.

21 MINS LATER

43:41
Mm.
43:41
Like after in boxing or MMA when someone's knocked out, like slapping his face, shaking his head, and then Jack Perry managed to come to, and then the ref let them continue [chuckles] the match.
43:52
And I'm just like, "What are we doing?" He was unconscious and had to be woken up.
15:17
And not only expect,
15:19
accept.
15:20
Well, that's the thing.
15:21
And I think now I'm not disagreeing with your view at all.
15:25
But I think I find it funny, not funny, just odd that because you're a guy that watches everything.
15:34
So you have different expectations.
15:36
But WWE fans know what a WWE show is and have expectations set for that.
19:14
with this company it's not as hot as it was even a year ago and a lot of that is just the the booking decisions and you know one of the big booking decisions of late is there's no young guys being put into new positions and this is this is an old elementary mistake and it seems like everybody should be aware of this but People just do what they do.
31:02
You wanted to mention something that we talked about on Observer Radio last night.
31:06
Well, yeah, you and Dave were discussing the swings of when, again, when Vince was in charge back in 2019 and business was horrible and the product was terrible and AEW was, you know, really coming on and looking like, you know, they could potentially catch WWE.
31:22
And then obviously there was a swing back.
31:25
And I think it can largely be attributed to properly defining heels and babyfaces.
31:33
that WWE in 2019, I remember all the complaints with, everyone's miscast, the heels are getting cheered, the babyfaces are getting booed, who's who? And the first boom period in 20 years was when you had a unified heel world champion that fans booed, Roman Reigns and the Bloodline, And you had over babyfaces that the crowd loved in Cody Rhodes, Sami Zayn, Drew McIntyre, Cody again, chasing that title.
32:01
And they had huge business.
32:03
And AEW, who when it started, I remember you constantly saying, it's like, we know who everyone is.

11 MINS LATER

42:39
Is there anything I want to talk about? You want to talk about Javon? My main man, Javon.
7:12
I would have been there for another few.
7:15
On that, there is a video on YouTube of a interview doghouse segment with Bob Brown that includes Jerry Morrow and I.
7:26
Where, again, I'm assuming Don had a head in the booking because I was the one getting slapped.
7:31
And Jerry slapped me and damn near knocked me backwards over the couch.
7:36
And it's on YouTube.
7:37
But to his accent and language and so forth, that's what really how I learned how to call a match with Jerry.
7:47
Because the first loop I did with him in singles matches was, I hadn't really gotten used to his accent yet.

16 MINS LATER

23:42
and I'll look it
