You know, after you had kind of moved on from The Last Starfighter and you're getting Jaws and other gigs, when did you realize that The Last Starfighter had not gone away with fans?

You know, it's funny.

I lived in Los Angeles most of that time.

And it just wasn't that big in Los Angeles.

It just was not necessarily seen as this big deal.

But all across the rest of the country, You know, I'd go into, if I was visiting some city or something, all these people would recognize me.

They'd go, oh, aren't you that guy that's...

What does theater give you as an actor that film and television doesn't? Well, it feels

That wa- Yeah, that was something that, that, that we discussed in the first meeting because I asked, okay, this is gonna be a movie with a lot of characters like, like Alexander.

So I had to do exactly a representation of his face, and they tell me, "No, no, you have to recreate.

You have to do new characters based on those characters, but not copy every aspect.

So try to, to create something that we can establish the future of the franchise with that look," right? Because what I try to do as an artist, I, I hold to the style of the '80s, right? I don't modernize anything.

So you're gonna see the Don Star, the, the suits, everything.

The helmet is gonna look exactly like the same.
