It runs from October 9th to the 25th at the Gremlin Theater in St. Paul.

[upbeat music] Hi, my name is Laichee Yang.

I'm an artist and designer currently based in Little Canada, Minnesota.

I'm recommending Preyam: Love and Occupation by Ananya Dance Theatre.

I recently had the opportunity to sit on a rehearsal run, and even in that really unfinished and intimate setting, I was incredibly moved by what I experienced.

Um, Preyam, it emerges from the injustices that the Twin Cities experienced during the federal occupation, uh, this past year.

And, um, the dancers and artists are responding through public love, care, and what they're calling defiant joy.
