I hear students ask, "Well, why should I go and talk to law schools at a forum? I could just Google everything I need to know." So what can you learn, Kyle, at a law school forum? What resources are available to students at a law school forum that aren't available just over Google?
4:03
Yeah, there is a lot of cynicism out there about forums and fairs.
4:06
I will say from my personal experience, the law school I ended up going to, um, I, I met someone from the admissions team at a law school fair at my university.
4:16
Had never heard of the school, which probably says something about me 'cause I went to, ultimately went to Vanderbilt and I hadn't heard of it at the time.
4:24
Uh, but that's how I came to know the school.
4:27
I asked questions, things that I probably could have Googled at the time, uh, but then also questions I didn't because sometimes it's in how someone answers a question that will give you the information you need to make your decision.
4:41
So it's not just like the substance of what they're saying, it is the, the how are they saying it.

What are some other essential steps that you would, uh, advise pre-law students to take before they apply to law school?

Yeah,
6:50
we've got these workshops.
6:52
There's like law school admission essentials, financial aid, the LSAT.
6:58
There's a student panel that we will have at every forum this year.
7:02
So we also will have these.
7:04
I don't know.
7:04
I can't remember.
