How do I know if I'm doing it for the glory of God? How do I know when I'm being or when I need to be and what I need to do? How do I take this from the theoretical to what does this mean for my life?
10:55
It's a good question, so I'm gonna answer it in two parts.
10:58
First part would just be on a practical day-to-day level, and, and that one would be if you were to look at your schedule of your, of your day, of your life, of your week, what are the things that we're making the time for? Are we, are we prioritizing that time of personal worship? Are we prioritizing that time of prayer so that those things...
11:21
Would someone look at our life and say, "Wow, they, they have a life that is devoted to prayer." And if not, then, then that begs the question, okay, so what then are we depending on for results? Our schedule really is a, is a clear way of looking at our life to see what is that, what are we depending on for the results to happen? Are we depending on God through prayer, which is evidenced through prayer, or are we depending on our actions? Now, we sh- we still need to act, but what's the basis of that? Do we draw our strength for our actions from prayer, or do we work first and then pray for God to bless it? Which one comes first there? So I think that's kind of a, a practical way that we can evaluate that, and for me, it was really just seeing, you know, I was just work, work, work, work, and I would...
12:08
If I would stop work to pray- And take more time to do that.
12:13
Now, I'd still have my devotional time, but, you know, those, those seasons of prayer, those, those, like, taking a chunk of time to pray, do I feel guilty about that? And if I do, then maybe, just maybe, we've, we've misaligned some things there.
12:28
I, I remember just being challenged going through the Book of Luke and seeing the number of times where Jesus would withdraw by himself to a quiet place to pray, and it just struck me, like, you know, I hadn't really seen this modeled very well of just being, having that balance.

Like, what's the first baby step? Where do you recommend, how do you recommend somebody start to get off the work, work, work, work, work for God and start being with God?
