But what do you think will be the Oregon vibe when game kicks off with all of the unknown and the suspiciousness of the week?
2:52
Yeah, I think it's a fascinating question.
2:54
I, I was on Oregon radio this week as well, and I kinda asked that same question.
3:00
I mean, they, they asked me, "How many Husker fans do you expect to make the trip?" And i- if the tickets are available, I, I expect them to, to be there.
3:08
Now, it's not an, an easy trip to do at the last second, right? So I don't think it's gonna be a situation like Maryland where the Huskers are gonna completely take over the stadium.
3:16
But, you know, from a...
3:18
You know, we all know quarterback's the most important position in really any sport, and to have that uncertainty of...
4:59
Uh, is that something they go to, or do we just see Caleb Benning step in and fill those shoes?
2:32
Yeah
2:32
... you want that wind in the fourth quarter.
2:35
I, I think it was Michigan State last year, guys, that was similar in wind, that the Huskers had the wind in the fourth quarter and, um, were able to put together I think a piece of a big drive late in the third against the wind.
2:48
But, like, the wind is such a major factor.
2:50
I think it, it favors a little bit of Nebraska in the sense that they understand all the intricacies of the wind patterns and some of the nerdy things that go with playing here at Memorial Stadium.
3:02
I think it's gonna come in from the south, uh, gusts about 35 miles per hour.
3:07
So you talk about on the Indiana side of things, right? It can't get much better when it comes to turnovers and, you know, some of the things that they just don't beat themselves.
6:23
Uh, what's the equalizer, Kyle, for Nebraska? How, how do they close that gap tomorrow?
137:15
But just how were you processing that in real time, and were you as shocked as I was that Nebraska was actually winning when halftime struck?
137:22
Yeah.
137:23
You know, it's a, they're all good points, Robby.
137:25
I remember as soon as we took the headset off, Dr. Gold's walking down 'cause he has his halftime show after us with Coatney.
137:33
And I said to Jay, "I don't know how, how the hell you even break this thing down." It's just, it didn't, a lot of it didn't make a whole lot of sense.
137:42
And the fact that you scored 28 points in general, the fact that you had 16 penalties and you scored nearly half a hundred points, I don't know h- I don't understand how you break any of this down.
137:54
But, you know, it's gotta get better.
139:55
different-Tenor, demeanor of the team, what, what did you pick up from those two performances in third and fourth quarters the past two weeks?
2:50
But just how were you processing that in real time, and were you as shocked as I was that Nebraska was actually winning when halftime struck?
2:57
Yeah.
2:58
You know, it's, uh, they're all good points, Robby.

5:16
Kyle, uh, just on that same point you were making, what have you noticed, or maybe you've heard from Jess during the broadcast themselves, and just the conversations you have after the game, Michigan State and Maryland, both those second half performances, was there more vocal leadership? Was there just a different tenor, demeanor of the team? What, what did you pick up from those two performances in third and fourth quarters the past two weeks?
118:21
What I am curious about, though, is kind of based on what you've seen, based on what you know about this team from last year with the new guys entered into it, like what – what position group are you excited? Might not be the right word, but maybe the most intrigued to see actually play football on Saturday.
118:39
Would you guys agree with me? I would, I said this on sports nightly last night that the offensive line probably has the most pressure on it outside of Calandria, just the basic quarterback pressure.
118:53
Right.
118:53
But I would say the offensive line has the most pressure on it based on the expectation we put on it.
119:00
right so if if there's some sort of um let down i guess for the offensive line and in conference play we're all going to be kind of bummed and you know pat stewart coach rule everybody would be bummed based on the financial commitment you have the guys on the offensive line and in jeep wade and my expectation is they'll be great and but just understanding what the the offseason discourse has been about That offensive line for me is just one of those areas that we've almost just shoot in to be great.
119:35
And I think it will be just based on what I've seen at fall practice.
119:40
I'm also excited, too, the connection with Calandria and the wide receivers.

15 MINS LATER

134:21
How fast was that decision for you, and have you guys been able to do some mock play-by-play, or is truly Saturday going to be the first time you guys have been in a booth and gone through this exercise together?
