How does it integrate, like, faith with, uh, athletics, and how does it help first, uh, the coaches and then the parents, uh, you know, uh, get into it?

We start, Marianela, by helping coaches to view themselves as a minister of our Catholic Church.

And so the coach's role is so formational in helping them to see that they are part of the opportunity to form young people.

Um, and many coaches have not considered that.

They're like, "A minister? You know, I signed up to be a basketball coach," right? And, and most, most coaches or many coaches aren't like Mike, like, "I'm hungry for more information." They just wanna jump in and teach free throws, which is great, but what we say is, "You gotta think beyond that.

That's wonderful.

Yes, we're gonna teach free throws, but we gotta think beyond that." And the first thing we encourage them to do is to stand in the shoes of a minister.
