This morning we are finishing our series on Lamentations.

But before we get there, I would like to ask you a question.

How well do you handle pain? What is your pain tolerance? How well do you suffer? For me as a kid, I always thought that my pain tolerance was pretty high.

I broke bones.

I got staples.

I got concussions.

If you have your Bibles this morning, please turn to the book of Philemon.

The book of Philemon.

This morning, I would like to begin by saying, uh, thank you for Pastor Sam, Pastor Ryan, Pastor Brett, and Pastor Chandler for the opportunity to bring God's Word this morning.

It takes a lot of trust to allow someone behind the pulpit.

I don't take that lightly, and I appreciate the opportunity.

I would also like to thank each and every one of you here at Gashlynn Baptist Church for allowing me to serve this year as your Shepherds Fellowship intern.
