How difficult was that? Tell me about it.
9:24
Well, Tapio's boat sank for unknown reasons.
9:29
It doesn't sink because he'd crashed with another you know collided with a ship or in heavy weather or anything like that and when i had him on board once he'd come on board eventually i broached the the topic of what did he think had happened to his boat and he thought it was some material failure at the time i know later on theories came out that you know the stern of his boat might have been lifted up and dumped onto a floating a semi-submerged container, but at the time he said to me that he didn't think he'd collided with a container.
9:59
So it was just one of those things that was totally out of anyone's control and part of, you know, these unknown risks that you take when you go on a trip like that.
10:09
So the rescue wasn't actually incredibly difficult because it didn't happen under storm conditions or anything like that.
10:16
He hadn't been capsized, nothing like that.
10:20
What was difficult is that at the time I approached his boat, obviously there's always quite a bit of swell on the Southern Ocean, even if the conditions are relatively mild.

6 MINS LATER

16:10
What was your food like and how did you manage to sort of get extra drinking water or washing and cleaning? Because the race is, what, seven, eight months long?
10:24
I mean, did they come in at the end or did they read your first draft? I hope you don't mind me asking you because I'm just really interested.
10:32
No, no, I don't mind at all.
10:34
It was a whole process of discovery, how writing a book and publishing it goes.
10:39
So I initially just freely wrote.
10:42
The impetus came from a publisher.
10:43
It was actually the German publisher that wanted the story.
10:47
And he said, I want the story in your words, write it in English, will then translate it into German.

And I just wondered, what were your tips and tricks that you didn't know before you started or you really used in relation to Celestial?
