What happened was the very first day he said how much he loved Parks and Rec.

So day one, they moved me into his blind spot.

James and I were going to be in combat for the— the strong alpha okay okay the the sexual element to the show we were gonna battle uh-huh but day one they said he said he loved parks and rec and oh so they just moved me into his blind spot and i just sat in a corner for 11 weeks and wrote palmdale

You know when to get out of a scene, a joke, a conversation.

I write screenplays also, so you get in there as late as you can.

Well, if you were going to give somebody some advice on starting stand-up, is there a time limit somebody should shoot for? What would you be off the cuff suggesting to them?

Yeah.

There was one at the foot of Law Street in Pacific Beach, an outdoor shower.

So I'd swim, and then I'd take this shower, but I liked it 'cause you could look at beautiful women while you shower-
