And, you know, with Cowspiracy and even the other films, when you put it out there, did you know the impact that it would have? Did you anticipate some of the controversy, the pushback, or even, like, the global reach that the film would have?
6:55
It's kind of those when you're in the flow moment.
6:57
The Cowspiracy, I was so passionate that, you know, sometimes you get jaded to the information, but I could not believe it.
7:03
So I play a character in the film, and now it's six years later, I'm like, "Oh, wow, you know, I can't believe this." When I'm interviewing them, I really know, but I didn't at the beginning.
7:12
And I felt that in a correct way that it would create quite a stir.
7:16
And I, I envisioned it being Netflix, but I didn't know if that was possible.
7:21
Keegan always reminded me, he's like, "No, you were very confident this would be seen by millions." I'm like, "Really?" He's like, "Oh, yeah." He's like, "I wasn't sure." But so, and I think that was important, p- poster for that movie.

17:19
In what ways have you seen that these industries try to shape public opinion, engineer cultural ideas, shape policy?
13:06
Mm.
13:06
Um, and it was a Netflix original.
13:08
[laughs] And at that time, it was more holistically, so it was the third part of the series Cowspiracy.
13:15
Initially, Cowspiracy was supposed to be three, uh, three films all in one: the environmental impacts, the health impacts, and the ethical impacts of eating animals.
13:24
But when, when we did the first screening that had all elements in it, that's why I was interviewing Buddhists and, and yogis, we did screenings.
13:31
Like, "You guys are trying to fit too much into the film." So at that time, like, "Oh my God, we have to make three films." [laughs] But I'm glad we did, but 10 years later.
13:38
It took a- I thought it was gonna take three years.

Can you speak against, uh, or to the people who say it's not a healthy diet and you're deficient in seven vitamins and so on and so forth?
