When my ex-husband and I divorced, we actually had a friendly divorce.

And I had told him, you know what, during these four years, I'm going to just be single.

You get your life right with the Lord.

You figure out what's going on.

And I think in the back of my mind, I always hoped that our family could one day restore because I did love him.

Did your relationship with God change through all of this?

So

I had done the work.

And I decided I was 50 years old.

And I thought, where does a 50-year-old go to start meeting people? Because I was not a bar scene.

I was not, you know, I had tried the church life.

uh, singles program for adults.

And I tell you, that was just so disheartening because there was like, you know, all these women and one man and I just felt sorry for him.

Right.

That's

right.

Well, he actually went to some counseling.

But, you know, sex addiction is one of those things, unless you keep the guards up, you've got to be very proactive and not get lackadaisical and lazy.

And it's not like a once and done.

But because we had children, we had four children, and I did not want to divorce and our kids go between homes.

Yeah.

It's not like you know that kind of trauma.
