Can you share that story with us? And how do you think crochet can support mental and emotional well-being?
8:30
Okay.
8:32
The situation that I referred to earlier was there was a patient who was a long-term resident in our ICU.
8:39
And The nurse at the time, her family, excuse me, her family had brought her some things to keep her busy, you know, during her time.
8:50
And one of those things was a ball of yarn and a needle.
8:53
So the nurse came out and said, hey, does anybody crochet? And, you know, everybody's looking like, well, why are you asking out of the blue, you know? And sure enough, I go in, I said, well, you know, I can figure some things out for you.
9:04
You know, I figured the patient wasn't doing much, but she was sitting up in the chair.

Any tips for someone who may, you know, have an interest in creative arts or creativity? How can they integrate this into their lives? Is it a mindset or scheduling it into their day? How could somebody who doesn't currently make bread or crochet, how could they bring this into their own lives?
