Would you mind sharing what Patrick's Purpose is and what it's done for people thus far?

Sure.

We knew that we wanted to do something to sort of honor him.

And I think our daughter actually came up with the idea of giving scholarships to kids graduating high school who plan to go to a community college or a trade school.

Because that path in our high-achieving community is not always very well celebrated.

I've heard of kids who, on the day where everybody goes to wear your T-shirt on what college you're going to attend, I've heard kids who aren't going to a four-year school just don't even want to go to school that day.

So we decided that we were going to give scholarships and we're going to make it a super simple application.
