Like, how did you get here? I

guess.

So I've always loved acting.

I've been acting since I was a kid, like in school musicals and stuff.

And then I went to college for theater and I graduated in spring 2019.

And then I moved from Virginia, where I'm originally from, to New York.

And I worked a summer job in Manhattan that got me housing, got me to the city.

But then you have to read it as the character, you know, so has that, how do you prepare for that? Or has that ever affected you when recording, like feeling emotional in the story?

What was your first introduction to Xaden and Violet?

So when we originally auditioned, Scott McCormick, our director, he didn't give us details on what we were even auditioning for originally.

He just kinda gave us, like, the archetypes, a little rundown, and, like, an e- excerpt to read.

So he was just kind of like, "I have this character I want you to audition for.

Think Katniss Everdeen.

She's kind of a badass, you know, young character." And I was like, "Okay, cool." And I'd heard of Fourth Wing at the time, but I hadn't read it, so when I read the excerpt for my audition, I didn't know what it was from, and it was the parapet scene from the beginning of Fourth Wing.

And so I was like, "Okay, cool.

I- in the text, he said, "Mom, not going there." I read it as something heartbreaking.
