But if we talk about vision in general, Kevin, how would you describe what's your definition of vision and how you you handle vision with your athletes?
K
7:17Kevin LoopekerGUEST
So my definition of vision is probably, I like to think of it way more broader than what most people do.
K

When, again, a lot of people say, hey, how's your vision? They say, oh, I got excellent vision.
K
7:28Kevin LoopekerGUEST
They're typically talking about clarity and they're talking about visual eyesight.

So when you go to an eye doctor, typically you're reading an eye chart and a certain distance and can you distinguish an E from an F at a certain distance? If you can't, do you need glasses or contact lenses to fix that? For a lot of people, that's vision.

And to me, that's one skill of vision that's eyesight that's a visual clarity to me i have a much broader definition to me um you can sort of think of vision having three sort of components one is your ability to take information from the environment through the eyes and how do you get it into your brain so that's sort of the input is like when you're playing on the court can you see the basketball the hoop Can you identify, can you calculate the distance from the hoop and what direction and what altitude I guess it would be in as well? Okay, that's sort of the input of taking information from your environment and getting it into your brain.

But is there information or advice you would give just to the athlete while they're trying to return to sport and return to the court from a visual standpoint with shooting?
