Would that be included in some form of trauma bond? How would you explain that?

Kerry RasenbergerGUEST
There's all different areas, right? if you're always never feeling seen, never feeling heard, if you feel that you're talked down, belittled, if they aren't ever listening to you, or if everything turns into the blame game, it's always your fault.

Kerry RasenbergerGUEST
They never take accountability or they never, you know, they never do anything wrong, even if they blatantly belittled you, knocked you down, embarrassed you.

Kerry RasenbergerGUEST
And it could be as blatant as you're standing right there and you're looking at them.

Kerry RasenbergerGUEST
They won't look at you and they say to your child, Tell your mother to be out in the car because I'm going to be there waiting.

It's like instead of asking, you know, what do I or what I you know, what I what I used to do is instead of asking, what am I feeling? I'd ask, you know, am I allowed to feel this? Am I overreacting? Is there something wrong with me? Am I the problem? So what happens psychologically when someone stops trusting their own knowing, their own perception, and then how does one start rebuilding their own inner authority?
