What was the most challenging part of going from student to business owner? And I guess what surprised you the most?

I think just the initial leap of launching the company, you know, I had thoughts and small little visions that were slowly coming together, but the scariest thing was just taking the risk of opening your own business.

Mended Mother OT, my husband and I opened it together and we really sat down and talked about like, okay, what does this mean for our family right now? And what does it mean for our family in the future? And And I think one of the hardest parts about opening your own business is you have this expectation of what success is going to be.

And I think that's the hardest thing to let go of because success may not come in the way that you envisioned it, but that's not always the bad thing.
