I think utilized well, they work.

I remember a time playing on the old PlayStation 1 where like, you know, playing games like Tekken 3 and Final Fantasy 7 and everything where a cutscene was almost a reward at the end of a level.

That's how it felt because it was all new.

CGI cutscenes were just not something that we had ever seen before.

so to me it's not like that anymore obviously I think I agree with what James said basically if it enables you to understand more of the lore or it introduces more like cool information about the characters and stuff like that I think that that's that's important and that's cool and I don't mind I don't mind that at all so Depends on the implementation, depends on the universe.
