Answering the phone with the Hall of Fame.

Bobby said, Kenny, what are you doing? What are you doing? I said, I'm just working, you know, just waiting for Joe to come in and I want to continue to train and try to make, yeah, the 88 Olympic team.

So I want to keep training and finish school.

And then so Bobby said, well, you know, I got to, you know, what do you think about coming to Arizona State? And I got a job out here for you.

Come out here and train here and help coach my team.

And then we can get on that track.

So from then on, you trained to the Olympics at Oklahoma State?

Uh-huh

...

I got through it, and I think it helped me to, to get there.

But you know what? I came back, I mean, I ain't doing that again.

Yeah.

That's crazy.

Huh, dude, I'm, I'ma make sure 1990 I will be ready, right? Uh-huh.

'Cause I know how tough it is up there, so yeah.
