They said you would never walk again?

Mm-hmm.

And so then, um, he came in and he was like, "I have something to tell you." And I was like, "Okay." And he was like, "They had to take your leg." And I just said, "Did either of my two friends have to lose a limb?" And he said, "No." And I said, "Well, I'm glad I'm the one that did, because it was my fault." And I stand on that because I can't imagine the guilt.

Like, I already deal with such bad guilt every single day for, like, what I did to my family and those two friends and their families, that if I were to par- Like, I already did so much damage, but if it was, like, missing a leg or paralyzed or death, like, I, I don't think I could've ever lived with myself.

And so I was just so grateful that I was the one that had to get that, um, news.

And so then I just sat there, 'cause I was 16.

Like, you have to process like, "Oh, my gosh, life is never gonna look the same again." And then I think the next day, they wa- came in 24 hours later in physical therapy and was like, "Okay, we're gonna do 10 squats today." And so they sat me up at a 90-degree angle, and I was really weird about wanting to see it.

Hearing you say that, it gives you, like, a journey that you feel like God probably has you on, right?

I might not survive, but I hope you guys got the good picture.

Yeah.

And we found out there was a video actually because someone told us like, oh, this lady has a video.

And we were like, what do you mean she took a video? We found this out like months after.

Yeah.

And so we contacted her and we're like, why do you have a video of it? That's disgusting.

Like you need to delete it off her phone and send it to us.

Did they ever come in and tell you about your leg? Like did they, did they amputate it right away?
