if you were on this level you had it was something for everybody on each level where they can come and you know uh get some some type of mentorship or like just know hey we're in this together you know i'm saying like how do we help each other out at this level like in real time i think a lot of conferences they talk about it but you actually built out like the the system or the framework for it to actually be working in an actual conference you know what i'm saying

yeah not easy and that's why we had to make so many iterations because as people's needs change and as they level up it requires different things and then also as the org like grew we it started because it started out at an fiu like i was the black alumni president fiu i pitched it to my alumni organization at like they were like the founding sponsors for the summit and so while that's what i'm saying there's a lot of things that went into that first year to bring it to life.

And so a lot of it is from that college experience and bringing those individuals together.

But as the org grew and then we got business owners, people who didn't go to school or who weren't part of FIU, people who went to all different types of walks of life, I had to take a moment and realize, okay, I don't want the org to like lose the community and the collective of a spirit about it.

So what is the common thread that I could find amongst all of us? And a lot of it, that common thread was the fact that we're all desiring, regardless if we no matter what environment we came from we're all desiring if you have this mindset to have generational wealth or to leave leave something better than what you had like i felt like that was a common thread no matter who i met and the people who i find really value what we're doing with bpa really value the summit they're on that same thing they're just like yeah i may not be in tech or i may not be in law or i may not be in medicine but But I do want I do know that I want to build a company or I want to build a business or I want to build a brand that positions me so that I can like invest in stock so that I can buy real estate so I can do different things and that be set up for something bigger, whether it's like starting a legacy fund or starting or.

Or or really tying into like my big, big, big why for us to get the capital that pours into the things that we really care about.
