Why don't you be seated? I want to begin by reading a passage from the Gospel of John in Chapter 11.

The text beginning in verse 17, we know of course the story in chapter 11 is dealing with the death and resurrection of Lazarus.

Jesus had delayed his coming to Bethany, which is just on the other side of the hill of the Mount of Olives.

And he's been waiting for Lazarus to die so that he may raise Lazarus from the dead.

The text begins in verse seven, it says, on his arrival, Jesus found that Lazarus had already been in the tomb for four days.

Even though he told us in Luke, he said that when you've done everything you've been commanded to do, then all you can say is, I'm an unworthy servant who has only done that which is my duty to do.

So that if by some miraculous occurrence today that I share something with you that is spiritually helpful for you, I can't go away and say, well, I did a fine job today.

No, God spoke through Balaam's donkey once again.

And it's like, it's the miraculous power of the Holy Spirit that makes understanding understandable, makes comprehension comprehensible.

It's when God opens the eyes and the ears and we understand.

And let me tell you, I have talked to enough people in my life who I've shared with them things that I thought were profound and true, and they've looked at me with a blank stare and didn't understand a thing I was talking about.

And also, would you say real quick that New Apostolic Reformation is dominion and kingdom theology now repackaged?

Yeah, it's just really reinterpreted within a charismatic context.

So there's been dominionists, people who believe that the church has to be in dominion.

And part of that is, I mean, I don't want to get too wonky about it, but the idea that all of the promises of God have been subsumed by the church.

It's interesting because there's never really any new theology.

My pastor, Chuck Smith, used to always say that every 10 years they recycle the same false doctrines.

So it's not like anything new comes along.

That's the first prophecy in the Bible in the book of Genesis.
