The Revolutionaries (w/ Ken Layne) -- #5
11:51
12:43

Ken LayneGUEST
He's very much sort of a city suburban person, but his idea of the late Roman Empire being layered over Southern California in the form of missions, in the form of, uh, a police state, and world trade, and um,Millions kind of on the dole as long as they play by the rules, I think influenced how I was gonna write about the desert in the future and just a whole bunch of well-known mystics and, uh, philosophers like Aldous Huxley, who lived out his last 30 years, I believe, in the Mojave Desert.

Ken LayneGUEST
Uh, he wrote a, a, a great book, um, a modern f- telling of a fairy tale about, uh, rattlesnakes and crows.
