So just give us a little like intro on on how you came to become who you are.
3:32
So I've always been a storyteller and I really love to do that.
3:37
For a long time, I was a super shy kid and I was in my first play in third grade.
3:42
And I remember that moment where I made the audience laugh and I was like, I think I'm going to do this for the rest of my life.
3:48
You know, I'm hooked.
3:50
As third graders do.
3:51
And I really, I think that the fascination for me was asking myself, what would make me do that in those circumstances? I really, that empathy card for me was strong and I wanted to play it as often as possible.

18:22
And honestly, it choked a lot of my creativity.
0:28
Maybe let's just start with, yeah, give us some background on who you are, what you're working on, and maybe a little intro to your book that you've written.
0:39
Absolutely.
0:40
So my name is Kelsey Crane, and my most important job, especially right now, is being a mom.
0:47
And I consider that to not just my children, but kind of the future, all the children on the planet.
0:54
And it was actually in my attempt to get pregnant with my son, who's now four and a half years old, that I was diagnosed with infertility.
1:04
And In that discovery of infertility, I became fascinated with fertility.
1:10
And very quickly, that process led me to the soil, recognizing that the microbiome in our stomach is the same as what's happening in the ground and realizing that my nature was separated from nature and that we all are nature.

16:42
And I was like, let's flip it.
33:29
What?
33:30
You know, I am so, I've been, I've picked up the pen again, you know, like the self-publishing, the business side of it was like not what I wanted to do.
33:42
And I think it's really important for, and I, and I have since created kind of, I kept notes because I definitely had the feeling of like, I really want to help other debut authors that need to self-publish further.
33:55
forward on this because there's all these little pitfalls and the systems aren't really set up to support self-published authors.
34:05
But I have a feeling that they will shift.
34:07
I mean, Theo of Gold and all these books that are having breakout success, there will be more support, I think.
34:14
And I'd like to be a part of that process.

And it wasn't easy, but you've become an example of what... is possible and turning an idea into and manifesting into something to hold with your hands.
