So tell us your elevator spiel of how you got to where you are today.
1:36
Oh, yes.
1:37
I love this.
1:37
And packing a lifetime into this is always something that's fun to do because we get to go back and look at our life.
1:43
But the version of this that I like to bring forward is that when we're younger, especially us as women, we have these intuitive abilities that are more apparent and expansive.
1:53
We feel deeply, we're feeling called to this nudge or this feeling to do something.
1:58
But over time, it gets shut down.

Seeing the proof, it is... hard so like how do you kind of share or teach with your clients or even yourself like to you know ensure that those are the correct shifts that you're like going in alignment what are the ways that you kind of like celebrate that with your clients or just be aware of those things
EileenHOST
4:05
Mm
4:05
... around me, my health, my job, my ability to feel like I was living a life I had created.
4:12
And when that breakdown happened and I finally allowed myself to feel the complexity of what this was, a lot of this spiritual pull to things like sound healing and reiki, all these beautiful modalities that I both wor- was able to receive and then practice as a reiki practitioner, it opened up my world, and that's when the psychic medium abilities came in, and that's when I went, "Okay, my inner self, my intuition's been speaking this whole time, and now I'm realizing that when I listen, then my life feels in alignment." So spirituality for me was a real time, like, truly step, okay, pebble- [laughs]

37:21
Mm-hmm.
37:22
I feel like the thing that wants to come through today is just reminding you how beautiful your expression is when you do the things you love, that light you up, that make you feel joy, that give you little glimmers in the world.
37:36
And sometimes it's not about doing this big, expansive thing.
37:40
It's about the everyday moments.
37:42
I like to call those, like, those micro-aligned moments where you choose yourself, you choose your intuition, you choose that nudge, that whisper, that gut feeling, and you get to prove to yourself how that shakes out in the world.
7:13
What brings you here? Anything you wanna share?
7:16
Yeah.
7:16
I'd be so open, and thank you, I received that sentiment.
7:20
I do...
7:20
It took me a while just to start with that, to understand that the voice can carry just as much medicine or frequency, love, healing as things that we write or, and the way we embody our energy, and it has shifted over time as I've been more grounded.
7:36
I tend to, in the past, been a little more air, a little more up, and it took coming back down to this earth exi- existence and really getting and rooting in for my voice to shift alongside of it.
7:48
My journey, it actually started with really big bouts of depression and anxiety and going through a really dark period.

13 MINS LATER

21:05
What, what have you experienced, um, that really has allowed you to become this, this person you are in front of me today?
3:42
So I just want to open this conversation up to you and how you've navigated the the niching topic in your career?
3:50
I freaking love that you asked this because this is one that I'm actively going through myself, like truly, really, really.
3:57
I am neuro spicy.
3:59
I am ADHD, autistic ADHD and PDA, which is demand avoidance.
4:04
So anytime there's a demand of niching down, my whole system, my nervous system goes, Absolutely not.
4:10
And I also feel like in the spiritual realm, especially having these abilities, but also loving strategy, there's this feeling of you can't do both.
4:17
For me, recently, and this has been a recent development, I've decided I'm going to talk about all the things.

9 MINS LATER

12:54
Like, was it something that you wanted to do for ages, but you were putting off or was it just like a spur of the moment thing?
23:13
Mm.
23:14
Uh, especially friends that I, that I have kept or kept in touch with.
23:18
I remember s- speaking passionately about my, um, book that I wrote, and it was in conversation.
23:23
I had just gotten done celebrating everyone else's aspect of what they were sharing about their life evolution, and the minute I shared about that it was silence and topic change.
23:32
And I remember having to go through and just do so much nervous system regulation and so much, like, almost self-spell, and just kind of really cast this ward on my name and on my energy and on myself to be like, "No.
23:44
This is not, this is not gonna work for me, and I deserve to love myself through this." I will say, an, a recognition that came out of that, and I [laughs] again, I'm so curious how it is for you.
23:56
But a recognition that came out of that was I think when we acknowledge these things that are really confronting and big, and we go through them in our own lives, people are happy to watch, but the minute they have to talk about them, engage with them, or think through them too deeply they have to confront them in their selves.

31 MINS LATER

55:20
I mean, we, we have control over things and we don't have control over things, but we do have control over the way that we allow things to s- to somewhat process through our bodies.
21:18
Or was it? Did you feel the pressure every night when he was about to dance?
21:22
I literally felt like I was going to pass out every single time I'd watch him perform because I knew how much like work that he put into every single dance and how many hours every single day he was training for it.
21:34
I think it was, it was the finale.
21:38
Joey got done with his dance and I got up and, or no, actually it was whenever they announced that you won.
21:43
I got up and I started cheering and I literally, my whole vision went black.
21:46
Like I was about to pass out.
21:48
Like actually I like had, I don't know if people saw me go like, because I literally was like about to pass out actually because of how stressed I think I was and how like my heart was just like.
23:12
Cause I was so in it, but do you think it was helpful or hurtful in some moments for our relationship? I would
