Uh, they, they gave me cer- several certifications just because I could skate.

And, uh, you know, but I made up for it because I instructed so many of these classes myself and, and so I put in my time.

But, you know, it's become a fine-tuned machine, uh, in regards to there's a set curriculum that you go through and things that are essential both on and off the ice.

And, uh, you know, as a coach, you are in charge of parents' most treasured asset, and you have to remember that.

I mean, I always viewed myself, and I think every coach should, that they're like a money manager, and somebody has come to them and given them $10 million, and they are depending on you to protect that asset.

And so I think that coaches have the responsibility of fostering, developing, and nurturing, uh, parents' most treasured asset.
