What stood out to you most about actually doing the back-to-back days and the events themselves, how they kind of go day one into two, three, four, etc.? ?
3:00
Yeah, look, I had first been to Four Peaks probably maybe 2013, like it was years ago.
3:07
There's little photos of young little Kelly and Tegan when we first met.
3:13
And so I'd been hanging out.
3:14
We'd been back quite a few times but only managed to get one or two races in.
3:19
So I was so excited last year to do all four and I got the flu the week of but I tried to ignore it and I was still determined to do all four races.
3:30
Um, it's, it's really challenging backing up day to day.

Who do you have an eye on?
6:15
And what led to the decision to apply for your eighth Australian team? Yeah,
6:25
it's a good question because towards the end of last year I wasn't going to apply.
6:33
I think I did a little bit too much last year and I crashed and burned and learned the hard way.
6:37
Just did a few too many long races and, yeah, I tore my hamstring probably June last year, right before I went to Europe to train with the Hoka team and do OCC and then World Champs.
6:56
So I did everything possible to be able to run, but it really took probably close to 12 months to properly heal and feel myself again.
7:04
So I really changed my training.
7:06
I backed everything right off.
