Yeah.

And this is a film that- ... introduces it in that kind of comfortability of here is your traditional fairy tale story, and here is Charlotte in very much, if Disneyland was real at that time, she would be front and center going there.

She's dressed to the nines as a princess, and it is given that kind of gaze of this is gonna be from Charlotte's perspective.

And then the fact that we actually get the twist where it's now going through Tiana's perspective.

It's like, oh, you're not just tackling Disney trope and the whole fairy tale princess stuff, you're now tackling...

In any other film, Tiana would be just the best Black friend in that storyline.

Now we're going something that is like we're now switching the perspective, and we're now focusing on her, and that's now it's her story.

So funny

... one of the scenes I love, and I, I think it's one of my, one of my favorites in this movie, is, um, when, uh, Nicky goes and visits Ace in the desert, and he's just like, "Who told you that I was bringing heat on you?" And all that, and that whole kind of conversation.

And, and it was only like years later that I discovered that that whole conversation was improvAnd that makes it even better.

So, like, Scorsese gave them the beginning of what the conversation should be and then how it ends, and what they do in the middle is just, like, the in-

... their downfall for all of these characters, and it's, and it's the same with Jordan Belfort, is it's, it's not necessarily taking what you have and then consolidating it and then be comfortable with it.

It is about what is the next thing to kind of excel yourself, um, and capture, capture your, your, your life in the grandest of kinda schemes.

And the fact that it becomes a sort of, um, a familiar theme, it- it's not a coincidence.
