Which kind of your forecast for gold and silver, maybe over the next three, four, five, maybe six months? And does the Iran conflict change your forecast any in either direction? The conflict renewing itself or maybe the conflict hopefully eventually ending and we get some kind of peace deal done? Does that change your outlook for gold and silver either way?
0:39
It does postpone the resumption of rising prices, no question about that.
0:44
And there's a variety of reasons, I think the core of which will probably appeal to people who study the euro-dollar, which is a desperate need for dollar liquidity.
0:52
When this thing got started, there were a lot of people that are traders not necessarily exclusively in gold, but in, let's say, crude oil and natural gas and all the other things that have to go through the Straits of Hormuz.
1:03
You know, There's one firm that we know of that was set to give us a deposit of gold to put into our program.
1:08
They trade gold.
1:09
They trade a lot of different things, but a lot more oil than gold.

21:05
Top of everything, all the problems
2:47
Yeah.
2:47
And so, um, I think what we're gonna see is a wave of dollarizations, uh, certainly in the peripheral countries when their currencies just utterly collapse.
2:56
Uh, the, the dollar will be selected by the people, whether they would wish it or not.
3:00
So, uh, I, I think the world has a love-hate relationship with, with the dollar.
3:05
They crave it for a lot of reasons.
3:06
There's a real urgency 'cause they have dollar-denominated debts, and it's universal and it's accepted, no questions.
3:13
And I think either people hate it or at least are frustrated with it because they get the short end of the monetary policy stick.

it need to get?
6:22
Right.
6:22
I mean, but bit by bit, it becomes more obvious and more bad things happen.
6:25
And, you know, whether it's, you know, the US government seizing Russian government owned, you know, treasuries and whatever, each little event, each little crisis, you know, shake somebody's confidence somewhere.
6:41
You have a couple of shareholders who are very much of the mainstream, very much not gold bugs.
6:48
They're on board because we have a mutual friend who's a big fan of monetary metals, a shareholder, and he got his buddies to tip in some small investments years ago.
7:00
And one of them just opened a monetary metals account and put in a couple of kilos of gold.

43:13
And if you can talk about that a little bit,
3:45
So yeah, uh, your thoughts on, uh, on that, uh, on, uh, what we might have coming, uh, here in Britain, and, um, yeah.
3:57
You know, uh, I, I agree with you that, um, they cause a problem, and then the solution is more of the cause of the problem.
4:06
And I agree that if you had a choice between, uh, you know, Person A with an evil ideology, who's completely pragmatic about it and willing to throw his ideology to the four winds, you know, based on, on that, versus a guy with the same evil ideology who's gonna stick with it no matter how many bodies it racks up, I guess the former, I'd have to say, is less bad.
4:28
Not, not as, not that it's good, mind you, but a little bit less bad in terms of its harmful effect.
4:34
Um, you know, the one thing I do know a little bit about is the trains in, uh, the UK, and, um, it seems to me that that's...
4:43
You know, in the US there's been some industries that are, quote-unquote, privatized.
4:49
Um, I guess that's kind of like Scientology.

13 MINS LATER

17:45
Uh-
6:15
Yeah.
6:15
As the dollar's going down, it's like the collapse of everything that everybody depends on.
6:20
Our whole civilization is hung on this thing.
6:22
That's not something that, uh, we should necessarily be cheering.
6:26
But there's a reason why people are selling the dollar and buying gold, and that is the dollar is increasingly untrustworthy, unreliable, unsound.
6:37
Um, my, my definition of inflation has nothing to do with the quantity and nothing to do with the general price level.
6:44
My definition of inflation, it's monetary counterfeiting.

36:26
So why do we still consider them monetary metals?
